No one likes them, but let's face it--we all need rules to keep things running smoothly. Right now there's only a few, and there won't be more added as long as everyone makes regular use of their brains and acts like adults. So be cool and everything will be good!
1. No flames. Constructive criticism upon each other is welcomed and encouraged, but do not tell someone that their voice sucks. How can they ever improve if you're only going to act like a douchebag about it?
2. Use your best judgement. Don't post anything--threads or posts or words--that could cause trouble. Everyone here is old enough to know what's okay and what's not, so I don't think I need to outline these things.
3. No diva fits. Just don't do it. If you don't get casted as a character you want, take it and move on. There will be plenty of other opportunities for you to play characters you -do- want, and no one wants to hear someone bitching and moaning about 'omg I didn't get Vampiru/Fish Eye/Jadeite/whatever THIS IS SO UNFAIR DON'T BOTHER CASTING ME UNLESS I CAN BE ______'. I have already kicked someone out for this, and I have no tolerance for this kind of childishness. Please don't go there and don't think I won't boot you because you're the only Usagi/Rei/Haruka/Setsuna/whatever. I can ALWAYS find someone who would be more than happy to fill in.
4. Be kind, rewind get your lines in on time! If you think you're not going to be able to finish your lines by the deadline, say something a couple days beforehand if at all possible, so we can have someone learning the song and ready for fill in for you. No one wants to wait for that one person who's lagging behind! If you go over deadline, you will be replaced the next day, and the person whose lines we use will be the one who posts them first!
5. Sometimes you will be asked to re-record your lines, or re-mix the audio/video (if you're a mixer). Be cool, it's nothing personal, we just want to make this as high-quality a dub as possible.
6. Don't be a braggart. If you think your singing or whatever is just great, fine, think it to yourself, but don't go around telling everyone about how great you are or how much you can do or how smart you are or---none of that. It's an enormous turn-off, and no one's going to want to work with you if you act that way. Just don't do it. Humbleness is charming, kids.
7. Remember to always be awesome. :] We're going to have a lot of fun here!
